AGENT & AUTOMATION

AI Video Editing Agent

Describe the edit in plain words. The agent cuts, captions and grades it on your timeline.

Plan
Every plan, Hobby (free) included
AI credits
5 credits for the first step of a run and 3 for each step after it. The quote shows the maximum before you start.
Good to know
Server-side runs, which keep going after you close the tab, are on Creator and Studio.

What it does

The Vidmoat agent works on the same timeline you do. Ask for "tighten the pauses, add bold captions and a warm grade" and it runs the editor’s own tools, step by step, so every change is an ordinary edit you can undo, retime or restyle.

Before a task starts you see what it will cost at most, and the run is held to that quote. If it reaches the limit it stops and keeps the best version so far. Anything it would generate, like a voiceover or an AI clip, is priced separately and exactly before it is made.

On Hobby the agent runs in your browser tab. On Creator and Studio it can also run on our servers, so a long job keeps going after you close the tab.

How to use it

  1. Open a project and choose Agent Mode from the More menu, or type in the AI console.
  2. Describe the edit. Check the credit quote and start the run.
  3. Watch the changes land on the timeline, then undo, tweak or export.

Who it is for

  • Creators who would rather direct than drag clips
  • Small teams turning raw footage into posts every day
  • Anyone new to editing who knows what the result should feel like

Questions about AI Video Editing Agent

Does the agent replace my edit or work on it?

It works on it. The agent uses the same commands as the editor, so its changes appear on your timeline and can be undone or adjusted one by one.

How do I know what a task will cost?

Before a run starts you see the most it can spend. It is 5 credits for the first step and 3 for each step after that, and generated media is quoted separately before it is made.

Can I close the tab while it works?

On Creator and Studio, yes: runs can continue on the server. On Hobby the run happens in your browser, so keep the tab open.
