What it does
Vidmoat runs a Model Context Protocol server with 113 first-party tools: create a project, import footage, cut, caption, grade, preview a frame and render. Your assistant works on the same projects you open in the web editor, so you can switch between chatting and editing at any point.
Connect with OAuth from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor on any plan. Each tool keeps its own plan rules and credit prices, and an assistant is never offered a tool your plan cannot run. You can revoke a connection at any time.
Personal API keys, for your own scripts and servers, are a Studio feature.
How to use it
- Add Vidmoat as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor using the MCP address on the MCP page.
- Sign in to Vidmoat and approve the connection.
- Ask your assistant to edit a project. Open it in the editor whenever you want to take over.
Who it is for
- People who already work in Claude or ChatGPT
- Developers building video into an agent workflow
- Teams automating repeatable edits
