How to install Vidmoat on Windows.
Get the Windows installer
Download the 64-bit EXE for Windows 10 or 11. The installer is unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning.
Install on your PC
Open the downloaded installer. Vidmoat installs for your Windows user and creates a shortcut for easy access.
Bring in your footage
Sign in, create a project and choose media from disk. Use the timeline yourself or ask the AI agent to help build your edit.
Free to download. AI and export allowances follow your account’s plan. See plans and limits.
Which Windows versions are supported?
This installer targets 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs. A native Windows ARM installer is not available. You can also edit in a current web browser.
Why does Windows show an unknown publisher?
The Windows installer does not yet have a code-signing certificate. That can trigger SmartScreen. If you prefer not to install an unsigned app, use the web editor.
Are all exports processed on my computer?
Supported MP4 exports can render locally. Some options require the cloud renderer. Local-only footage must be uploaded before a cloud renderer or another device can use it.
Does the app work offline?
An internet connection is required to load the editor, sign in, use AI and access cloud project services. Local import and local export do not make this an offline editor.
