Yes, Vidmoat works inside WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord. Once your account is linked, you send clips in the chat, describe the edit you want in your own words, and the finished video comes back in the same chat. It is the same Vidmoat account as the website and the apps, so your plan, credits and projects are shared.
Connecting WhatsApp
1. On the phone that has WhatsApp, sign in at [Connect a channel](/dashboard/connect).
2. Tap Connect WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens a chat with Vidmoat with a message already filled in.
3. Press send. Vidmoat replies to confirm that your account is linked.
Connecting Telegram or Discord
- Telegram: tap Connect Telegram on the same page. It opens the Vidmoat bot and links on the first tap.
- Discord: tap Connect Discord and approve it in Discord. There is nothing to copy.
Linking also completes the Link Telegram or WhatsApp step on your dashboard.
If the button does not work
Message the bot first and it replies with a 6-digit code. On [Connect a channel](/dashboard/connect), open Got a 6-digit code from the bot instead?, choose the app, type the code and press Link account.
What you can do in the chat
- Send your clips and say what you want: "cut this to 30 seconds with captions", "make it vertical", "add music".
- Ask for changes in plain words, in your own language.
- The edited video is sent back to the chat when it is ready.
Unlinking
On [Connect a channel](/dashboard/connect), every linked app is listed under Linked channels with an Unlink button.
What it is not
- Not a support line. The bot edits videos. For help with your account or a payment, use [contacting us](/help/contacting-us).
- No payments in the chat. WhatsApp Pay and other in-chat payments are not supported. Plans, passes and credit packs are paid by card on the [pricing page](/pricing).
- Nobody edits your project for you in the chat. If you want a person to do the edit, see [handing a job to a real editor](/help/expert-handoff).
