Handing a job to a real editor

What "Hand it to a pro" is, what it costs, and what access the expert gets.

Hand it to a pro is not support. It is a separate service where an approved editor works inside your project and hands it back. It lives at the dashboard page called Hand it to a pro.

What it costs

Your first three handoffs are free, ever. That is three per person for the life of the account, not three a month. After that each one costs $9.00, charged once per request, with one round of revisions included. In some countries the checkout charges less, because purchasing power parity is switched on.

A handoff you cancel yourself still uses up a free slot. One that expires because no expert ever claimed it does not, and we say so when it happens.

What the expert can see, and for how long

Your project moves into a temporary private team and exactly one approved expert is let in. Nobody else can see it. Their access ends the moment you accept or cancel: the temporary team is dissolved, and if you did not accept, your document is put back the way it was with their delivery kept separately so you can still look at it.

What you are actually buying

They work with their own credits, their own model budget and their own plugins. That is the point of it: somebody's judgement and tooling, not a bigger model. The work comes back as a delivery you can watch and discuss in a thread, and you can rate it when you accept.

The timings that matter

  • A delivered job auto-accepts after 7 days if you do not reply.
  • An unclaimed request expires after 7 days.
  • One revision round is included. Anything beyond that means opening a new handoff.

Write the brief as an outcome

Describe the result you want rather than the steps. Choosing the steps is the part you are handing over. Attaching a project is optional, so you can open a handoff with nothing but a brief.

Did that not cover it?

Send us a ticket and we will answer. If you are signed in it arrives with your plan and any recent errors attached, so you do not have to describe them.
