Creating and deleting
New projects are made from the dashboard. A new one is called Untitled Project until you rename it, which you do by clicking the name in the editor's top bar. There is no rename control on the dashboard card.
Deleting is permanent. The confirm dialog reads This cannot be undone, and it means it: there is no trash and no restore. Your uploaded media is not deleted with the project, because the same file may be on other timelines, but finished exports of that project are removed immediately.
If you are on the free plan and want a slot back, deleting a finished project frees one straight away.
Duplicate does not copy your timeline
The Duplicate action on a dashboard project card currently creates a new, empty project named "Copy of ...". It does not copy the clips. If you need a real copy, tell us and we will treat it as the bug it is.
Folders, which we call workspaces
A workspace groups projects: a client, a series, a campaign. Make one from the bar above the project grid, then filter with All work, Unfiled, or a folder name. Double-click a folder to rename it. You can have up to 60 per scope.
Deleting a workspace never deletes the projects in it. They become unfiled.
Sharing a project with another person
A workspace is not a permission. It answers "what is this part of", not "who can see this".
A project cannot be shared with an individual. The only way another person can open your project is through a team, which you create at the team page in the dashboard. Move the project into the team using the MOVE TO control on its card and everyone in that team can see it.
To move a project into a team you must be a member of that team. To move one out, you must be its creator or an admin of the team holding it. Team projects do not count against your personal project limit.
Sharing the finished video instead
If you only want somebody to watch the result, you do not need a team. Export it and create a share link, which is covered in its own article.
